On Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve

I wrote you a little poem for all you knitters and crafters out there.  If you are feeling the pressure to get a gift made, remember the gift of craft and making with your friends and family is just as special as the final product! Cheers ~

'Twas the night before Christmas,
everyone was knitting, even the mouse.
The pressure was on, finishing gifts was the goal,
nobody wants a stocking full of coal!
The yarn was flailing, the cat was wailing
“my fur needs grooming…” but time was looming…
Are the presents made? Are the presents wrapped?
The needles clicked, and tippitty tapped.
But then it sparked, a realization that glowed,
the gift of craft was bestowed.
In this moment, the greatest present was had…
knitting with friends and family, this wasn’t so bad.
Gather around, come from far and near,
let’s craft together this coming year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my knitters and crafters!
