These acorn boxes are 100% wood; a beautiful combination of maple on the bottom and walnut on the top.  The pop-on tops are sturdy and snug; the base is rounded with a flat bottom, steady on a flat surface with zero wobble; the finish is matte smooth to the touch. The craftsmanship is outstanding.
